Ok Barrio fam here is a bit of coffee school knowledge so store this in your brain to sound cool at some point. A Peaberry is a coffee seed that has naturally mutated inside the cherry to be one seed rather than two. It has a smaller rounded appearance with more density than regular coffee beans. This happens in a small amount of cherries (like 5%) and  they are often not picked out. Occasionally all the peaberries will be picked out and sold as a seperate lot. So This lot is like a micro micro lot! 

This is our 7th season of coffee from Mwendi Wega which is a small producer group from Kerugoya town, Kenya. It is inspiring for us to source coffees from the same producers year after year but it is not always so simple as a small roastery. We are grateful to Cafe Imports for facilitating the sourcing of this coffee year after year.

This is a beautifully balanced coffee with clean vibrant acidity. As this is a very small Lot with limited availability grab some while you can and drink the heck out of it! It tastes like sunshine.
